ISLAM CIVIZILATION CENTER

Rising in the heart of Tashkent, the Islamic Civilizations Center is not merely a museum — it is a cultural landmark that reinterprets the intellectual, scientific, and artistic legacy of the Islamic world through contemporary exhibition design. The Pre-Islamic Era exhibition design and implementation were proudly undertaken by Outdoor Factory, representing Turkey’s creative and technical excellence in museum design. Our design team collaborated closely with Uzbek historians, archaeologists, and cultural experts to craft an immersive narrative spanning from prehistoric times to the modern era. The spatial concept blends the ornamental beauty of Islamic architecture with a modern, minimalist aesthetic, supported by advanced digital installations, light and sound compositions, and interactive storytelling. The exhibition features:
• Dioramas depicting the Paleolithic, Mesolithic, and Neolithic periods,
• 3D digital maps illustrating ancient trade routes,
• Transparent display systems for archaeological artifacts,
• Projection-based timeline transitions,
• and immersive rooms offering sensory and emotional engagement.
Through these layers, visitors are invited to not only observe but feel and experience history — walking through the evolution of civilizations.
